In ancient times the dungeons of Mars were inhabited mostly by the Light Hoovers.
 
These non-material, two-footed, and six-handed alpha-intelligent creatures colonized the Red Planet in order to expand their argon, neon, krypton, and xenon chain of supply. When their mission was over, they teleported themselves back to the home (NGC 4414) galaxy leaving behind all their underground facilities.
